Andrew W.K. And Beastie Boys

Being an Andrew W.K. fan and also a Beastie Boys fan, I could not help but share this rare mash up attempt I found on You Tube the other day! Weird but kinda awesome in the same time. Watch it if you want. It is a mix of AWK's Party Hard and Beastie Boys Fight For Your Right. Source: check it out

Long Live the Party

Notes: In late 2003, W.K. released The Wolf. The album featured Andrew playing all the instruments on the recording (he had his full live band play on I Get Wet). It spawned the singles "Tear it Up" and "Never Let Down" in the US (both had videos made, but only "Tear It Up" had a full retail single released) and the song "Long Live the Party" was a minor hit in Japan. "The Wolf" has many overdubbed instrument parts. The Wolf was not as commercially successful as I Get Wet. On tour for The Wolf, Andrew was injured on stage and broke his foot. After the concert, he signed autographs from the ambulance. Not wanting to let his fans down, he performed the remainder of the tour in a wheelchair. Source: check it out

Texas Bootleg at Emo's

Songs played are as followed: Violent Life, Victory Strikes Again, Long Live The Party, It's Time To Party, Take It Off, Girls Own Love, She Is Beautiful, Ready To Die, Tear It Up, Free Jumps, Your Rules, Never Let Down, I Love New York City (ATX Version), Party 'Til You Puke, Kit Kat, We Want Fun, I Get Wet, & Party Hard. This video is brought to you by Jumper Productions. (Thanks so much!) Source: check it out

We Want Fun - Music Video

Notes: "We Want Fun" is the third single released by Andrew W.K. in 2002. The title track is taken from the 2001 soundtrack 'Jackass - The Music, Vol. 1'. It contains three previously released tracks and the video made for "We Want Fun" which features Andrew W.K. performing at the Jackass: The Movie wrap party, and features many of the Jackass crew members. Andrew W.K - Never Let Down

Notes: In late 2003, W.K. released The Wolf. The album featured Andrew playing all the instruments on the recording (he had his full live band play on I Get Wet), and was a product of three years of work (some of the songs on the album Andrew had been working on since since 2000). It spawned the singles "Tear it Up" and "Never Let Down" Source: check it out Original Music Video

A.W.K. Hockey Performance

Notes: In late 2006, Andrew re-worked his song "Fun Night" into a theme song for the Arizona Sundogs, a hockey team. The song was titled "Sundogs (It Just Got Hotter)". The song also appeared in the film Old School during one of the party scenes. Source: check it out

Andrew W.K - Party Hard (Live at FF4)

Notes: "Party Hard" is the first single released by Andrew W.K. in 2001. It contains 2 previously released tracks, one previously unreleased track (Violent Life), and the video for Party Hard. There was a promo single for this song released to radio stations and the like. The promo single had the title song, the video for the song, and a track titled "Andrew W.K.". This debut single began to receive substantial airplay on MTV 2 starting in the summer of 2002. This video airplay directly contributed to making Andrew W.K. a mainstream name that year. However, a sharp backlash occurred against the popularity of "Party Hard." Source: check it out
